  1. People equate the fact that because the president is a great speech giver and because he is charming, witty and likable.his “movie star” qualities, and that he is the ” Lord of the Teleprompter” that this translate in his being a great a great debater. He is too arrogant, aloft,as well as convinced of his superior intelligence moral greatness and you can add the fact that his whole persona is geared to being the great “Transformational” president he could not be bothered to learn the skills of a debater.

  2. Ezra- how is Obama anti-American? Also, you think a Democrat reducing the debt is unlikely? Are you aware of presidential administrations prior to Obama?

The last five-Democrats Clinton, Carter, LBJ, Kennedy, and Truman- all reduced the debt burden. The last four Republicans- Bush, H.W. Bush, Reagan, and Ford- all increased our debt burden. It’s a good thing the GOP says ad nauseum that they are the fiscal conservatives, because saying it enough makes it true. At least you seem to believe so. Romney is running the same failed policies of his predecessors- enormous tax cuts combined with huge defense spending increases. And like Bush, I’m sure he’ll forget to cut any spending that will hurt him politically, which is most of it.
