Juliana Batista ’16, Executive Vice President of the Student Assembly (SA), defeated SA Vice President of Finance Matthew Stefanko ’16 and Jeffrey Breuer ’16 in the Spring 2015 SA Elections, according to official SA Elections Committee information sent to The Cornell Review.
Current SA Arts and Science Representative Emma Johnston ’16 won the Executive Vice President position over challenger Peter Biedenweg ’17.
According to the Elections Committee information provided to the Review, Batista received 2,250 votes, Stefanko 1,328, and Breuer 355. Johnston received 2,551 votes and Biedenweg 706 in that race.
It was earlier reported by the Review that Batista wrote a statement on her personal Facebook account indicating she had won the election.
The same individual sent the Review the vote counts released by the Elections Committee to all candidates for other races.
The Elections Committee information indicates that Diana Li ’17, current SA Transfer Representative, Gabe Kaufman ’18, current SA Freshman Representative, Maha Ghandour, and Stefanko won Undesignated at Large positions.
