The Cornell College Republicans are sponsoring an event on Oct. 30 with West entitled “The Evolution and Future of American Foreign Policy” in Uris Hall (Uris G01) at 6 pm.
West was a former lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army and former House Representative from Florida. Joining the army in 1983, West fought in both the Gulf War and the Iraq War and retired in 2004. His awards and distinctions include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal, among others. In 2010 he rode the Tea Party wave to a term in the House of Representatives. Since 2012, he has been a Fox News Contributor, a Senior Fellow at the London Center for Policy Research, and he writes for several prominent publications such as the Washington Times and PJ Media.
Because Lt. Col. West has such extensive knowledge of U.S. foreign and military policies, The Cornell Review applauds the Cornell College Republicans for this choice of speaker at such a crucial point in U.S. foreign policy development.
The event is free and open to the public.

What happened??? I was so disappointed. I drove all the way from Binghamton for this event. When I got there, the auditorium was empty!!!!!
