As we undergraduates begin our meal plans for this spring semester, I’d like to direct you to a piece I wrote last semester about Cornell dining. Now, I’m not actually asking you to steal food from the dining halls, but it seems to be a fairly logical course of action given my analysis.

I actually have gotten in trouble for trying to steal food from RPCC twice. First, I tried take an extra banana, but everyone in the group I was with did the same exact thing, so once one was revealed all of us had to surrender the food. The second time was when we had attempted to steal an entire cake from the dining hall (an idea i strongly objected to, but was outnumbered 7-1 in favor of it.) In that instance, we had the smallest person take the cake, and have the tallest form a tight cluster around her so as to protect her from sight. This idea in action looked as stupid as it was, and drew a lot of attention, thus getting us caught. There was no actual punishment involved though.
