Mr. Ben Shapiro is widely recognized for his commentary on political and social issues. Shapiro first received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA and his law degree from Harvard Law School. Mr. Shapiro has written many bestselling books ranging from The Authoritarian Moment and How to Destroy America in Three Easy Steps.
Mr. Shapiro went on to become the editor-at-large of Breitbart News, along with later becoming a co-founder of The Daily Wire, and is one of the most prominent conservative voices in the country.
Cornell will join three other universities in hosting Mr. Shapiro during the Fall Semester (Yale, UCLA, and Vanderbilt) during his “Campus Lecture Tour” with Young America’s Foundation (YAF). Shapiro–a supporter of Israel–will likely address the ongoing campus unrest regarding recent protests by the Students for Justice in Palestine Chapter, and The Coalition for Mutual Liberation (CML).
The event will be held at Bailey Hall at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.
