Thank you to all incoming freshmen and returning students who have expressed interest and signed up for the Review email list. Be sure to check out the Cornell Review table at Club Fest tomorrow from 1:00-4:00 in Barton Hall. We will be distributing copies of our Freshman issue, and the entire Cornell Review editorial board will be around to talk to prospective writers and answer questions. For those of you who are interested but still not sold on writing for us, here are the top ten reasons to write for the Cornell Review:
1) Boost your resume with published writings.
2) Voice your opinion on campus events and national news stories.
3) Great opportunities for organizational and editorial leadership roles.
4) Substantially improve your writing skills.
5) Stand up for something you believe in and meet like-minded conservatives.
6) Receive credit for campus service hours (i.e. Cornell Tradition).
7) Write for the hottest new Cornell-centric blog, the Cornell Insider!
8 ) Get real reporting and journalistic experience covering campus events.
9) Meet important Ithaca and Cornell figures.
10) Meet gorgeous men and women at our annual conservative lingerie bash! (just kidding…)
