Finally, thanks to Keith’s official blog, FOK News Channel (that title is classic, Keith), and the folks at Slope Media Group, who filmed the event, we have the video of the Review-stomping from Olbermann’s March 29th lecture at Bailey Hall.
More video after the jump . . .
The Cornell Republicans, who will be hosting Karl Rove on April 13th were also at the event and their very brave Vice Chairman, Adam Woodward ’11, took on Olbermann’s immaturity and inability to debate the right. The response he got validated his point and had even the most liberal Olby groupies cringing.
Finally, toward the end of the Q&A, the Insider took to the microphone to question Olbermann on New Tone 2.0 and call him out on his Review-stomping. As you can see, it ended in some nice Cornell bromancing because, like we said the other day, we really do <3 our Cornell alumni . . . even the ones that can be a bit toolish at times.
Look for full coverage of Olbermann’s visit to Cornell in the next issue of the Review.
My God, he looks like a pear dipped in charcoal.
As a liberal Olby groupie…I didn’t find myself cringing at all. Rather, I found myself nodding in agreement that conservatives are “wildly stupid.” STRANGE?!
(Now prompt the swarms of editors and contributors of this blog to sarcastically attack me with no sense of humor.)
@2, I don’t think you get it…
“Wildly stupid,” ah the brilliance of the liberal wit.
We do have a sense of humor, and I personally enjoyed Olbermann stomping on my articles. He gave us the reaction of a petulant child and it was a good giggle. The only disturbing thing about the matter are the hundreds of [theoretically] intelligent Cornellians cheering Overbite on for his supposed analysis and wit.
